If you encounter the message: "Unable to Activate eSIM. You can try again, or contact your carrier for assistance," please do not panic.

In most cases, this does not mean the installation failed. It is often a normal response triggered by your current location or network environment, especially if you are setting it up before your trip.

How to Verify if Your eSIM is Successfully Installed?

Even if an error message appears, the eSIM is likely already on your device. You can verify it by following these steps:

  • Go to SettingsCellular (or Mobile Service).

  • Check if a new eSIM plan has appeared, often labeled as "Travel," "Secondary," or "Business."

As long as you can see this new plan, the installation was successful, even if it hasn't fully activated yet.

Why Does it Keep Saying "Activating..."?

If you are still at home or have not yet reached your destination, your iPhone cannot connect to the local overseas network.

  • The status may stay on "Activating..." for 5 to 30 minutes.

  • Once you arrive at your destination and connect to the local carrier, the system will automatically complete the activation and restore internet access.

⚠️ Critical Safety Reminder: DO NOT Delete Your eSIM!

Each QR Code can only be installed once.

If you encounter persistent issues:

  1. Take a screenshot of the error message.

  2. Take a screenshot of your "Cellular" settings interface.

  3. Contact Mars eSIM Customer Service immediately.

Avoid deleting the plan manually, as you will not be able to reinstall it.
